Kingsland Relief Pad

Breaking news everybody! Today, Kingsland Equestrian launched a new product that is completely different from what we are used to see from them. They have created a new and revolutionary half pad that is made with the highest technology in order to keep the horses back comfortable during the work.

According to Kingsland, the new pad is super flexible and breathable, resistant to bacteria, water-repellent and 100% recyclable (wow!).

It features the ZenXit technology described by the brand as «highly elastic and flexible co-polyester fibers that are extruded in a three-dimensional net structure». There are 3 different densities available that allow the pad to fit every horse.

Nowadays there are some really good half pads, I'm so curious to see this one and to know the feedback from the riders. Is this going to be just another half pad or is it going to be the real thing?! What is your opinion?

Kahla Racer Back Tank Review

Here in Portugal we have very strong summers with pretty high temperatures, it gets very hard to ride outside with the sun that is ready to melt us down. As the indoor arena at my current barn is much smaller than our outside arenas, we ride outside most of the time so we need fresh tops - I do love the preppy equestrian style but when it gets super hot I have to forget that, wear a tank and get the job done!

My newest tank is the Kahla Racer Back Tank by Noble Outfitters, I got it last month and I have already ridden in it a few times, here are the positives:
  • Attractive & flattering;
  • Very comfortable;
  • It's also great for the gym;
  • Comes in many colors to suit different tastes.

Like all the other products I own from Noble Outfitters, this tank did not disappoint. I love when I can be comfortable and get compliments at the same time, especially from my mom - she loves it so much that she has already "stolen" it from me.

The color I chose was Vivacious Heather, it is such a pretty, pretty pink - much better than it looks in the images. The contrast between pink and grey is one of my favorite details.

You can't really see it on the photos but the back of the Kahla tank is made of a stretch mesh fabric that adds some breathability. I also enjoy the so called racer back and, of course, the famous dropped back hem.

I got the size XS (size 0-2 or European 32-34) and maybe it runs a little big. You might want to get a smaller size - it is great if you like larger tops though!

Fall is one month away but I still highly recommend you to get one of these because they are great for layering! You can find the top at Noble Outfitters online shop.

Pre-Fall Outfit

Today I decided to show you my OOTD featuring my new Glitter Equestrian{ista} Sweatshirt by Equestrianista Apparel.

This is great for the first days of the Fall because it isn't too warm or too fresh! I hope you guys have enjoyed this outfit!

A Selfie For A Selfie

As you may know, H&M - the very well known Swedish brand - dedicates some of its work to equestrians around the world through the project H&M We Love Horses. They are the sponsors of Peder Fredricson, Malin Baryard and of the most famous equestrian twins, the Philippaerts brothers!

In order to celebrate the European Championships in Aachen and to support Malin, who is competing there, H&M has created the funniest campaign ever called "A Selfie For A Selfie" where each person gets an exclusive selfie of Malin in Aachen.
How can you get one? It's very easy: Follow H&M We Love Horses on Instagram (@hmwelovehorses), send them a selfie showing what you are doing using Instagram Direct and then wait until Malin sends you an awesome selfie from the backstage of Aachen!
I'm sending my selfie in a few minutes, can't wait to get mine! :D

Holidays in Germany: Reitsport Dreilinden

On the previous post (here) I told you that I had visited two tack stores in Germany. Yesterday I told you about Krämer but today I will talk about Reitsport DreiLinden, a local tack store near the megastore.
Even though this store was smaller, I think this one was better: they had the best equestrian brands (Kingsland, Equiline, Pikeur, Eskadron, Animo, etc.) with the best prices! Many of their items were on sale so I found there some great deals. The lady that was on the store couldn't speak much in English but she tried her best and she was really nice - even let me take some photos to show you!

Now, here's what I bought: A pair of Ricarda Knee Sequin breeches by Spooks, a pair o Pikeur socks and two amazing show polos by GPA!

Honestly, this store was one of the best tack stores I have ever visited, I wish it was here in Portugal. You must go there if you live near Berlin or if you travel to a place nearby!
I was not paid to write this post, I just liked the shop a lot! Here is their address and their Facebook page:

Holidays in Germany: Krämer Pferdsport Megastore of Kleinmachnow/Berlin

Although I didn't see horses in Berlin, my days there were amazing because they were very related with my equestrian lifestyle (and of course, the city is incredible!).
If you follow my social media, you may know that I have visited Hermès, Gucci, Ralph Lauren and so on. These brands are inspired by the equestrian style so it is always a pleasure to see their collections.
My last day in Berlin was mainly dedicated to horses as I went to two tack stores. My original plan was to go to Loesdau near Hamburg and then to visit Krämer in Berlin but Loesdau was too far from my hotel so we decided to visit only the Krämer megastore.

My hotel in Berlin was near the famous Berlin Zoo, therefore it was easy to get there using public transports - Here's how you get there: Catch the S7 or RE trains to Wannsee, then catch the bus 620 and you're there, as simple as that!

If you are looking for cheaper items for you and your horse, Krämer is a great solution. They have some well known (and more expensive) brands like Euro-star, Effol, Ariat, etc. but most of their clothing items are from cheaper brands. I loved many of the designs from Felix Bühler and they had great deals!
I didn't need nothing in particular but I ended up getting a new pair of Roeckl gloves and a massage scrubber.

On the next post I will write about the other tack store. It was a bit different from this one so stay tuned to see what I bought there!

Equiline Fall/Winter Collection

I have exciting news, it's that time of the year again! You're right, it's time to see all the new collections for Fall/Winter 2015!
The Summer has not ended yet, the sun still shines, it's pretty hot but we don't want to buy any more Summer clothes. On the other hand, nobody wants to start wearing rain jackets, turtle necks or even scarves. Let's keep thinking about our Summer rides until September - ok, this doesn't mean that we can't start looking at the new collections because I can tell you this year they are pretty awesome!
Since Equiline is one of my favorite brands I will start with them, I have chosen some of my favorite outfits for the season:

Holidays in Germany: Hamburg & Horses

If you follow me on social media, you may know that last week I travelled to Germany where - of course - I have done some things related to my equestrian addiction.
The first stop of my trip was the wonderful city of Hamburg, here is my post I've written:
At the city center there aren't many horses but that is more than expect in a big city! However, there are many, many, many, sports stores but none of them has equestrian gear (how is that even possible? Horse riding is a major sport in Germany!).
Although I didn't visit any tack store in Hamburg or any stables, my visit was great and I ended up seeing many things related to horses:

1. Police Horses

I saw two of them. They were huge and looked very well treated - they had a really nice body, a great attitude - I was very impressed with them.

2. Horse Trailers

It is very frequent to see horse trailers while you are walking by the city. In 3 days I have seen more than 4 trailers - that is not very usual here in Portugal.

3. Western Store

On Saturday I have visited the Red Light District of St. Pauli. There you can find the most different styles and I found a cool Western store that had boots, hats, jeans, so as many other things that define this style.

4. Miniatur Wunderland

When you visit Hamburg, you must save some time to visit this museum!!! You will find many countries on a small scale and you'll get so impressed that you will not want to leave!
My favorite moment was when I started finding stables, horse shows and trailers on this miniature world, here are some photos:

My following stop was Berlin, I have much more interesting things to share with you about that city - including 2 tack stores, stay tuned! :)
